Obituary of Lorna Lee Edwards

Lorna Lee Edwards, age 85, of Eldon, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Lorna was born June 6, 1933, in St. Clair, Missouri.  She was the daughter of Emory and Ruby (Wright) Edmondson.

On October 26, 1968, Lorna was united in marriage to Clark Edwards in Union, Missouri.  They shared over 50 years together as husband and wife at the time of her death.

Lorna is survived by her husband, Clark Edwards of the home;  her sons, Charles Fry and fiancé, Linda Murphy, of Eldon, Missouri, and Fred Fry and wife, Pam, of New Florence, Missouri;  her daughters, Brenda Sonnenberg and husband, George, of Rocky Mount, Missouri, and Sheila Lipscomb of New Florence, Missouri;  twenty grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren,  andsix great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Ruth Ann Edmondson of St. Louis, Missouri, along with many other relatives and friends.      

Lorna was preceded in death her father, Emory Edmondson and her mother Ruby Cunningham; her son Harvey Fry III;  her daughter, Lillie Liane Scott;  her brother, Bobby Edmonson; and her sister, Dorothy Bowman.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Resolve Church, Hwy 42, Kaiser, MO. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 12:00-1:00 pm prior to services.

Memorial donations are suggested to a memorial fund that has been established in memory of Lorna.
