Obituary of Michael Henry Rollheiser
Michael Henry Rollheiser, age 49, of Linn Creek, Missouri, passed away at the VA Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, May 11, 2019, just one month short of his 50th birthday.
Mike was born to Jay and Ann Rollheiser in Kansas City, Missouri on June 13, 1969.
Mike graduated from School of the Osage in 1987 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served overseas in Operation Desert Storm. After his service, he received a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from SMSU.
Mike loved his motorcycles, Corvette and other collectibles from movie posters to rare beer cans from all over the world. He had many memories with friends going to Memphis in May each year and boating on the Lake of the Ozarks. Mike lived a good life working and playing hard.
In 1993, Mike and his family, Jay, Ann and Matt, purchased Tonka Hills Restaurant in Linn Creek, Missouri where Mike worked until 2016. He had many great memories with the customers and coworkers who became friends over the years. Mike was a character and always had people laughing.
Mike is survived by his sister Susan and husband Dan Hutchins of Shawnee, Kansas, his brothers Mark Rollheiser of Olathe, Kansas and Matt Rollheiser and life partner of 9 years, Stephanie Anderson of Camdenton, Missouri, his nephews, Andy Rollheiser of Camdenton, Missouri, Tom and wife Katherine Hutchins of Hermosa Beach, California, David Hutchins of Shawnee, Kansas, and Tyler Walsh of Camdenton, Missouri, and cousin, Lee Ann and husband Vaughn Lane of Topeka, Kansas.
Mike was blessed with many other special friends who loved him dearly, Michelle Snyder of St. Louis, Missouri, his companion of 20 years, Dalena Harper of Stoutland, Missouri, his companion 7 years and her children, Kenden Harper, Kaiden Spangler, and Kolten Harper, and former wife, Ashley Rollheiser and her son Chase Leporin of Camdenton, Missouri, and many more than we could possibly mention.
Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Hwy 42, in Osage Beach, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 1:00-3:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.
