Obituary of Michael Glen Frey Sr.

Michael Glen “Mike” Frey Sr., age 64, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

Mike was born January 20, 1955 in Owensville, Missouri. He was the son of Herman and Lorene Frey.

Mike was united in marriage on December 4, 1976 to Vicky Quick. Together they have shared over 42 years of marriage.

Mike was a well-known carpenter in the Owensville area for 30 years. He continued his occupation as a carpenter at The Lake of the Ozarks and recently was employed with Drury Development for the last 15 years. Mike was passionate about fishing and participated in many fishing tournaments here at The Lake. He was a current member of the Moose Lodge in Owensville, Missouri.

Mike is survived by his wife Vicky, sons Jerry Frey and wife Sarah of Camdenton, Missouri, Mike Frey Jr. and wife Cindy of Macks Creek, Missouri and Chris Frey and wife Ashley of Montreal, Missouri; siblings Connie Rehmert and Richard of Bland, Missouri, Karen and Paul Strubberg of Owensville, Missouri, Kathy and Richard Strubberg of Union, Missouri, Scott Frey and his wife Nancy of Owensville, Missouri and Herman Frey Jr. and Robin of Blue Springs, Missouri; ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Lorene Frey, brother Roger Frey and one sister Cindy Frey.
