Obituary of Mary Karen Baker

Mary Karen Baker, age 79, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019 in her home at Lake Ozark.

 

Mary was born July 28, 1939 in Ironton, Missouri, the daughter of Harold and Margaret Mary (Phillips) Baker.

 

Before retiring to Lake of the Ozarks, Mary lived and worked in St. Louis.  She was employed by Washington University as Director of Records for many years.   In recent years, she was an active member of Lake Ozark Christian Church and served with the Care Connection group at the church.

 

Mary is survived by her daughters, Shelly Williams of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Susan Pollard of Lake Ozark, Missouri and Sonja Williams of St. Louis, Missouri; and four grandchildren, Meghan, Evan, Mitchell, and Leah.  She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

 

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Margaret Mary Baker.

 

Services will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11:00 am at Lake Ozark Christian Church in Lake Ozark, Missouri.  The family will welcome friends for visitation from 9:00-11:00 am at the church.
