Obituary of James Earl Sloan

James Earl Sloan, age 78, of Climax Springs, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019 at his home in Climax Springs.

James was born August 8, 1940 in Doniphan, Missouri.  He was the son of Calvin and Mabel (Newton) Sloan.

James was a carpet layer for over 50 years.  In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing.

James is survived by his daughter, Barbara Sloan of St Louis, Missouri; his grandsons, Eddie, Kyle, Dwight and Anthony; his  granddaughters, Stephanie an d Summer;  great grandchildren  Haley and Louie; and his friends Mark Lewis and Ron Merridith.

Services will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri.   The family will welcome friends for visitation from 5:00 - 6:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.

Interment will be at 1:00 pm,  Friday, June 28, at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Doniphan , Missouri.
