Obituary of Paul Richard Imhoff
Paul Richard Imhoff, age 78, of Four Seasons, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 in his home at Four Seasons.
Paul was born February 2, 1941 in Kansas City, Kansas. He was the son of Leo and Amelia (Zey) Imhoff.
Paul grew up on a farm in Prairie Home, Missouri where he also attended school and graduated from Prairie home High School. He was a member of Assumption Catholic Chapel in Cedron, where he served as an altar boy.
On July 14, 1962 in Jamestown, Missouri, Paul was united in marriage to Norma Hampton. They shared nearly 57 loving years of marriage together at the time of his death.
Paul was a self-employed painter for many years, where he did most of his work for Duncan Construction. When he wasn't hard at work, Paul enjoyed watching dirt track racing, especially his son racing the #86 late model. He was also an avid NASCAR fan, cheering for Dale Earnhardt Sr. He loved playing Pitch with family and friends and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who meant the world to him.
Paul was a loving husband and father and a wonderful grandfather and great-grandfather. We celebrate his life and the legacy he leaves behind.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Norma, of the home; his son, Brandon Imhoff and wife, Kim, of Columbia, Missouri; his daughters, Lisa Dobbs and husband, Scott, of Kaiser, Missouri, Monica Page, and husband, Kirk, of Osage Beach, Missouri, Cindy Imhoff of Kaiser, Missouri, and Carey King and husband, Scott, of Kaiser, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Valerie Test (Robbie), Codie Dobbs, Austin Duncan, Taylor O'Connell (Ryan), Jordan King, Kenzi King, Laityn Imhoff, and Maizie Imhoff; and two great-grandchildren, Brantley Test and Owen Test. He is also survived by his brothers, Melvin Imhoff of Liberty, Missouri, and Bob Imhoff and wife, Eleanor, of Shawnee, Kansas; his sister-in-law, Barbara Imhoff of Marenisco, Michigan; along with several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Amelia Imhoff; one brother, Leo Imhoff; and one sister-in-law, Ruth Imhoff.
Services will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Osage Beach, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 3:30-6:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Osage Beach, Missouri.
