Obituary of Donald Dewaine Hetherington

Don’s journey to Heaven was at 11:00 am on Friday, July 5, 2019. His parents were Lionel Hetherington and Jennie Breault Hetherington of Gladwin, Michigan.  He ascended to Heaven and was greeted by his wife, Dorothy Ellen (Raymond) Hetherington who preceded him in death on July 22, 2012.  They were married for 71 years July 19th.  His body will be cremated and his ashes will lie with his beloved wife in Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Osage Beach, Missouri.   He is survived by his two daughters, Dorothy R. Courder of Stewart, Florida and Saundra L. Dichiera of Lake Ozark, Missouri and son-in-law Frank Dichiera.  His one and only grandchild James D. Walker of Stewart, Florida.  Donald was the tenth of eleven children of Lionel and Jennie Hetherington who have all preceded him in death.  Brothers Edward Hetherington, Roy Hetherington, Delmar Hetherington, Carl Hetherington and Charles Hetherington, sisters, Nettie Turbush, Eva Thayer, Nellie Forr, Florence Barsune, and Mildred Kline.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  The entire family greeted him at Heaven’s gate.   They are all celebrating with the King. 

At a later date there will be a Celebration of Life, and It will be such a wonderful, deserving celebration.
