Obituary of David A. Fisher

David A. Fisher, age 50, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Friday, July 26, 2019 at his home in Lake Ozark.

David was born January 26, 1969 in Ironton, Missouri. He was the son of Everett and Barbara (Browers) Fisher.

David worked in maintenance and construction his whole life.  He loved spending time outdoors camping, fishing and looking for arrowheads.   He also enjoyed bowling since he was a kid, and loved the Kansas City Chiefs with a passion.  David never met a stranger, and was the type of man who would do anything for others and loved all animals, especially his dogs and cats.  David loved his family more than anything, and his greatest joy in life was spending time with them.

David is survived by his wife and best friend Shelley  of Lake Ozark, Missouri; his step-daughter Cassidy Ellison of Lake Ozark, Missouri; and step grandchildren, Jacob, Rylee, Hailey, and Amelia, who loved their Paw Paw very much.   He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Fisher of Lake Ozark, Missouri; his brothers, Darrell Fisher and wife, Micheline of Coral Springs, Florida, Dwayne Fisher of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Frederick Fisher and wife, Bethany, of Wentzville, Missouri, Craig Fisher and wife, Lisa, of Camdenton, Missouri, and Mike Fisher of Hollywood, Florida; along with several nieces and nephews and friends.

David was preceded in death by his father, Everett Fisher.

Services will be held at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri.  The family will welcome friends for visitation from 4:00-6:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.
