Obituary of Dolores V. Fox

Dolores V. Fox, age 91, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019 at her home in Lake Ozark.

Dolores was born March 14, 1928 in Maries County, Missouri.  She was the daughter of Leo and Zetta (Kolb) Bax.

On April 6, 1950 in Fulton County, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Fox, who preceded her in death September 27, 2012.  They had shared over 62 loving years of marriage together at the time of his death.

Dolores and Kenneth lived and worked in St Louis, Missouri for many years.  She owned and operated a beauty salon inside her home where she enjoyed meeting and talking with her clients.  She loved meeting people and never knew a stranger.   She was an excellent cook and loved  sharing homemade meals and goodies with family and friends.  Dolores and Kenneth moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in the late 1980's and enjoyed living the lake life in their retirement years.

Dolores was a loving and devoted wife and a wonderful caring mother and grandmother to her family. We celebrate her life and accomplishments as she will forever be cherished in our hearts.

Dolores is survived by her son, David Fox, of Lake Ozark, Missouri; three grandchildren, Dani, David, Jr, and Shelby and six great-grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents Leo and Zetta Bax; her husband Kenneth Fox; and her brothers Delbert Bax, Raymond Bax, Donny Bax, Norman Bax and Glen Bax.

A visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 am, Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Osage Beach, Missouri.

Graveside Service and Interment will be at 1:00 pm at Resurrection Cemetery, Jefferson City, Missouri.
