Obituary of Patricia Ann Workes

Patricia Ann ”Pat” Workes, age 83, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

Pat was born January 3, 1936 in Vandalia, Missouri.  She was the daughter of Leroy Ernst and Oleta Keith.

On May 14, 1955 in Mexico, Missouri, Pat was united in marriage to Donald “Don” Workes.  They shared over 64 loving years together as husband and wife.

Pat enjoyed her job as bookkeeper for Don’s business, Midwest Electrical Contractor, Inc in Kaiser, Missouri from 1983-2001.  She also worked as a beautician in her younger years.   Pat was a member of First Baptist Church, Farber, Missouri.

Pat was a loving and devoted wife, and a caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her children and their families.  She created many wonderful memories for her family to cherish for years to come.

Pat is survived by her husband, Don Workes; her daughters, Lynne Baker and husband, Greg, of Ashland, Missouri and Debra Nolan and husband, Rodney, of Ashland, Missouri; her grandchildren, Nick Hammett and wife, Rebekah, Holly Sorm and husband, Sok, and Ryan Nolan; her great-grandchildren, Cole Hammett, Lauren Hammett, Camryn Sorm, and Andon Sorm; along with a host of other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy Ernst and Oleta Keith.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Osage Beach, Missouri.

Memorial donations are suggested to Dogwood Animal Shelter or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
