Obituary of Donna Marie Trantham

Donna Marie Trantham (Nee Larson), age 73, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Hermitage Rehabilitation and Care Center, Hermitage, Missouri.  She was born October 28, 1945 in Davenport, Iowa.

On October 1, 1994, Donna was married to John Trantham and they shared nearly 25 years together as husband and wife. 

Donna graduated from Central High School in Davenport, Iowa and was an Executive Secretary for 30 plus years.  Donna and John relocated to the Lake of the Ozarks in 2006.  She loved spending time with family and friends, and planning extravagant gatherings for all to attend.  She enjoyed spending time outdoors and being on the water, and adored all animals.

Donna is survived by her husband John, of the home;  her children,  Kimberly Fixsal, Michael Knuth, Tony Risley and wife Carol, Brenda Tindle and husband Larry, and Lisa Evans and husband Chris; 17 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brothers, Fred Larson and wife Sharon, and Kenny Chapin and wife  Brenda; her sister Rita Wilburn and husband Charles;  as well as a host of other relatives and friend; and her beloved dog, Josie.

Donna was a loving Wife, Mother, Daughter, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Mother-In-Law and Friend to those she knew.  Her memory and legacy will live on in the lives of her family and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

The family would like to send a special thank you to all of the nurses and caregivers at Hermitage Rehabilitation and Care Center for the amazing care she was given.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, October 5, 2019, from 2:00-3:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Inurnment will be at Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Praying Hands Mausoleum, Osage Beach, Missouri.
