Obituary of Lawrence Joseph Meyer

Lawrence Joseph Meyer, age 69 of Camdenton, Missouri passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born on June 21, 1950 in Ferguson, Missouri, the son of Edward and Rosemary Meyer who preceded him in death.

He was an avid motorcycle rider and was a member of the Patriot Guard. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting and loved to barbecue.  Larry was very talented in auto body restoration. He air brushed murals onto many vehicles during his life. Above all, he greatly loved his grandchildren.

He was united in marriage to Annie Mae Olsen on May 12, 2007 who survives him, of the home, Stepchildren-Kimberly Burns and husband Dewayne Burns, Mellissa and husband Robert Loveall, Andrea Nelson of Camdenton and stepson Daniel Ruszczyk. Grandchildren, James Nelson, Tyler Nelson, Dylan Summers, Faith Burns, Star and Suzanna Lovall and Great Grandson Elijah Wickstrom. He is survived by his biological family including Ronny Joseph Meyer, and wife Sammi Meyer of Camdenton; one daughter Christina Charlotte McAlister of Kansas City MO; His brother Richard and wife Kathy of Lake St. Louis, MO; Michelle Kelsay and husband Franky Kelsay, Brother Greg and wife Laura Meyer, grandchildren Steven Hyde, Paul Jr Hyde, Tyler Hyde, Matthew Hyde,Joseph Meyer, Jason Meyer, Brianna McAlister, Kylie Meyer and  many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two granddaughters Haylee Meyer and Danielle Hyde.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 pm on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 for visitation at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri with a Celebration of Life following at 12:00 (noon) with Reverend Daniel Vacca of St. Anthony’s Church officiating. Refreshments will be served at Keystone building across from Habitat for Humanity on Keystone Industrial Drive off of South Hwy 5 after the service.
