Obituary of Craig Carlton Grandstaff
Craig Carlton Grandstaff/Ricki Warren Wilson, age 70, of Brumley, Missouri passed away at his residence on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 after a lengthy battle of cancer.
Craig was born September 22, 1949 at Rockford, Illinois to Melva Nadean Wilson.
Craig served in the United States Army as an Engineer Battalion Operations Sergeant and a Paratrooper. This gave him a love for helicopters. He enjoyed working and feeding the wildlife friends around his home. Craig worked as a heavy machine operator where he retired loving his job. He enjoyed music and played the bass guitar from an early age.
Craig is survived by his son Anthony Grandstaff, stepdad Gail Jeffries, siblings Sharon Brown, Gerald Wilson, Danny Aust (Molly), Brenda Helm (Jim), Tony Keifer, Deana Gilmore (Shannon), Jeffrey Jeffries, Lissa Jeffries and Debra Bradshaw (Cliff), his dearest Aunt Mary Bellamy, 17 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. He had built a strong bond with nieces, Carey Bacus (Jerry), Sharey Sutton (Chip), Julia Meza “wittle kid” (Kevin), and nephew Phoenix Albertson.
Craig was preceded in death by his loving wife Barbara Grandstaff, mother Melva Jeffries and adopted parents Dr. Charles and Virginia Grandstaff.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday October 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Osage Beach, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to service time at the funeral home. Full military honors will be held at the end of service.
