Obituary of Judith Anne Black

Judith "Judy" Anne Black, age 81, of Osage Beach, Missouri departed this life on Saturday, October 19, 2019. She was born June 14, 1938 in Springfield, Illinois to Ernest and Mary White Griffith.

On May 4, 1957 she was united in marriage to James Allen Black. Together they shared 56 years of marriage.

Judy worked in the printing services industry for over 25 years and retired from University of North Texas in 2003.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Allen Black Sr., and son James Allen Black Jr.

She is survived by two children, Jeanese Hedrick and husband Lance of Kaiser, Missouri and John Black and wife Kathy of Lewisville, Texas; seven grandchildren, Robert Hoffmeyer and wife Amanda, Adam Hoffmeyer, Shane Black, Tabitha Moughan Johnson, Justin Black and Janessa Black and seven great grandchildren; sister Patty Shipley and sister in law Barbara Black Salim and husband Khalid Salim.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
