Obituary of Patricia Ann Jones

Patricia Ann “Pat” Jones, age 73, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019. She was a kind and gentle soul, and she will be missed.

Pat attended School of the Osage from first grade until the end of her sophomore year when the family moved to Slidell, Louisiana.  While a student at Osage she was a cheerleader, a member of the band and volleyball team, and was active in school plays.

Pat worked as an interior decorator in New Orleans before returning to the lake area. She enjoyed traveling and extended visits to family in Maui, Phoenix, and Aspen.

Pat is survived by her brother Oris (Bub) Jones of Brumley, Missouri; and sisters Iris White of Palm Desert, California, Pam Rauh of Waxhaw, North Carolina, and Launa Windsor of Aspen, Colorado.

Pat was preceded in death by her daughters Kendra and Tricia, her sister Avis, and her parents Vince and Clella Jones of Brumley, Missouri.

A family celebration of Pat’s life will be held in the spring in Brumley, Missouri.

Pat’s family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Jane Stanton Herbert for the warmth and unselfish compassion she bestowed on Pat during her last months. Jane’s kindness will never be forgotten.
