Obituary of Ruth W. "Ruthie" Krueger

Ruth W. “Ruthie” Krueger, age 82, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage Beach.

Ruthie was born November 20, 1936 in Manheim, Germany, the daughter of Elizabeth Appel.

On June 26, 1954 in Switzerland, Ruth was united in marriage to Palmer Krueger who preceded her in death in 2003.  They had shared 49 years together as husband and wife at the time of Palmer’s passing.

Ruthie worked many years as a talented seamstress/tailor and embroidery artist in the St. Louis area.  She was able to work from her home where she was proud to own and operate her own business.  She enjoyed spending time outdoors caring for her garden and going fishing when she had the chance.  Ruthie loved being home, baking all kinds of goodies and tending to the house and her family.   She was a proud die-hard Republican who supported President Trump 100 percent.   Ruthie and Palmer retired to Lake of the Ozarks in 1999 where they enjoyed their last years together.

Ruthie is survived by her daughters, Diana Rodgers and husband, John, of St. Charles, Missouri, Carol Ann Allen of Valley Park, Missouri, and Barbara Jean Kuhn of Barnhart, Missouri; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Hurst; her husband, Palmer; and her daughter, Angela Krueger.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, November 25, 2019 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.  The family will welcome friends for visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.

Graveside Service and Interment will be Tuesday, November 26, 1:00 pm  at Valhalla Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
