Obituary of Roger "Allen" Coffman

Roger “Allen” Coffman, age 46, of Eldon, Missouri, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019 at his home in Eldon.

Allen was born June 1, 1973 in Crystal City, Missouri, the son of Harold and Cassie (Gough) Coffman.

On September 27, 1997 in Bourbon, Missouri, Allen was united in marriage to Robin Matchell.   They shared over 22 years together as husband and wife at the time of Allen's passing.

Allen worked as a boat welder at the lake for many years.   When he wasn’t hard at work, he enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.  He was an avid sports fan, and especially loved the St. Louis Blues Hockey and St. Louis Cardinals Baseball teams.  Allen loved music and enjoyed listening to classic rock.

Allen is survived by his wife, Robin, of the home; his son, Hunter Coffman of Springfield, Missouri; his daughter McKenna Byler and husband, Justin, of Eldon, Missouri; and two grandchildren, Augustus and Chase.  He is also survived by his mother Cassie Coffman of St. Clair, Missouri and his brother, Bill Coffman and wife, Brenda, of Lake Ozark, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Coffman and his sister, Cassandra Brown.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019, from 1:00-6:00 pm at VFW, 1087 North Service Road, St. Clair, Missouri 63077
