Keith Golchert, Sr.

Obituary of Keith A. Golchert, Sr.

Keith A. Golchert Sr. the Hy-Vee Margarita Man of Lake Ozark, Missouri,  made his last call on December 5, 2019, while being adored by his wife and daughter.  As Keith would say....another one bites the dust!  He was born on December 19, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois, to Arthur and Virginia Golchert.  They quickly moved to the suburb of West Chicago where he lived for the next 58 years.

In 1971 Keith married Marsha Lawrence and they were blessed with 3 children.  Life takes different roads and when they parted Keith met and married his banker in 1987.

Keith is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jane; his daughter Becky Golchert and fiance, Phil Banet; his son Keith Golchert Jr. and wife, Jen; his son Scott Golchert and wife Jennifer Turano; his grandchildren Jacob Murphy,  and Gracie and Nolan Golchert;   his brothers Kent (Tina) and Kurt Golchert;  many nieces, nephews, cousins and two aunts, Betty Behnke and Nancy Behnke.

Keith and Jane moved to Lake Ozark in 2008 and became members of Faithbridge Church.  Even though Keith had IPF and was on oxygen 24/7 he did not let it slow him down.  Vacations continued and some were just really long car rides.  Many days were spent at LRHS where he attended classes for Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation.  IPF did not take Keith...God did!

A Celebration of Keith's Life will be held at 4:00 pm,  Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Faithbridge Church, 901 Highway 42, Osage Beach, Missouri.  The family will welcome friends for visitation from 2:30-4:00 pm at the church.  A dinner will follow services.

At Keith's request, in lieu of flowers,  please make donations to Faithbridge Church or LRHS Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation.
