Obituary of Joseph Everett Crider

Joseph Everett “Joe” Crider, age 43, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 at Springfield, Missouri.

Joe was born December 13, 1975 in Potosi, Missouri, the son of Raymond Lee Crider and Sandra Joan Miller.

Joe worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years then later as a over the road truck driver.  In his spare time, he loved spending time outdoors hunting, fishing and camping.  He enjoyed canoeing the rivers and sitting around bon fires, talking and laughing with his friends and family.   Joe was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, and he loved listening to music.   His family was his greatest joy in life and along with his dog Nyx, he loved them all dearly.

Joe is survived by his son, Connor Leelinton , of Montreal, Missouri; his daughter, RaeLea Jane , of Bolivar, Missouri; his brother, Jeff White, of Macks Creek, Missouri; his sisters, Joy Seybold of North Powder, Oregon, Loretta Boesing and husband, Eric, of Park Hills, Missouri, Crystal Crider of Park Hills, Missouri, and Kathie Hembree, of Urbana, Missouri; along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Lee Crider, his mother, Sandra DaMitz and step-father, Robert “Bob” DaMitz; his brothers, Leon Crider and Ronnie Crider; his sister, Peggy Garren; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Loucille Crider; and maternal grandparents, Raymond and Edna Miller.

Services will be held Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 5:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Macks Creek, Missouri.  The family will welcome friends for visitation from 3:00-5:00 pm at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Macks Creek Cemetery, Macks Creek, Missouri.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
