Obituary of Dorothy C. Buechting

Dorothy Caroline Francis Buechting, age 101 years, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Dorothy was born July 6, 1918 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Amelia Masters.  She was married September 11, 1938 to Norman William Buechting who preceded her in death.

Dorothy was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri.  She remained in the St. Louis area after her marriage to Norman and worked there as a real estate agent.  She relocated from Crestwood, Missouri to Camdenton, Missouri where she continued working in real estate and before her retirement,  she became a  member of the Million Dollar Club.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Norman Charles Buechting; daughter, Judith Carol Buechting Reinhold; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.  She is also survived by her brother, Oscar Masters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Amelia Masters; her husband, Norman William Buechting; and her brother, Rodney Masters.

Services will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Camdenton, Missouri. 

Interment will follow at Laughlin Cemetery, Camdenton, Missouri.

Memorial donations are suggested to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church or Dogwood Animal Shelter.
