Obituary of Edward A. Rassenfoss

Edward A. Rassenfoss, age 88, of Osage Beach, Missouri departed this life on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care.

Ed was born May 2, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Edward F. and Robin Hoop.

Ed was united in marriage on October 8, 1955 to Betty Langley in Washington, D.C. while stationed at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. Together, they shared 58 years of marriage until her death, September 30, 2014.

Ed was a graduate of Xavier University. After retiring in 1994, Ed and Betty moved from St. Louis to Lake of the Ozarks. He was always faithful to his Catholic upbringing and was very active with the Knights of Columbus as a Forth Degree and Grand Knight.

Ed is survived by his children Catherine (Rassenfoss) Johns and her husband, Terry of Wildwood, Missouri; Edward Rassenfoss and his wife Kimberly of Osage Beach, Missouri: four grandchildren, Terry Erin, Trey and Taylor:  and 7 great-grandchildren.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Lake Ozark, Missouri.

Inurnment with full military honors will be at 12:00 noon, at Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Veterans Wall, Osage Beach, Missouri.
