Obituary of Jack Lee Fewell

Jack Lee Fewell, age 79, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 at his home in Camdenton. Jack was born May 21, 1940 in Minonk, Illinois, the son of Carl and Edna (Barth) Fewell. Jack was united in marriage to Joan Herbert on September 25, 1960 in Camdenton, Missouri. They shared 59 years together. In 1979 Jack and Joan owned and operated Carl Herbert’s Plumbing and Heating and changed the name to Hub City Plumbing. They opened Crafters outlet # 1 in Osage Beach for thirteen years. After retirement Jack worked for Jim Betta at All American Pest Control, until his health failed him in 2010. Jack was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Camdenton. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and riding his motorcycle. He also liked to work with heavy equipment. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. Jack is survived by his wife Joan Fewell; his children Michael David Fewell of Camdenton, Missouri, Marcia Sue West and husband Alan of Camdenton, Missouri, and Amy Lynn Betta and husband Jim of Linn Creek, Missouri; his seven grandchildren Cory Fewell, Delaney Wahl and husband Christian, William Fewell, Hilary Kirschke and husband Jacob, Slater West and wife Felicia, Brogun Betta, and Ireland Betta; three great-grandchildren Ella, Blake, and Amelia. He is also survived by his brother Larry Fewell and wife Kathy of Camdenton, Missouri, and Sister Marg Moorefield of Decaturville, Missouri. Jack was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Edna Fewell, his brothers Donnie, and Carl Jr, and sister Lois Fowler. A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:30 pm, Friday, January 24, 2020 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 4:30-5:30 pm prior to services at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Camdenton, Missouri.
