Obituary of Andralee "Iya" Taylor

Andralee "Iya" Taylor, age 32, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri passed away Saturday, January 25th, 2020. Iya was born September 19, 1987 in Los Angeles, California to Vince Taylor and Corinne Fulkerson. Iya was the 2nd born of 4 children, but the first to help anybody. She was a graduate of the Camdenton High School class of 2006. She had a passion for life with a gypsy soul and anyone she met she left an imprint on their heart. She was an amazing athlete and her passions for life were sports, music, friends and family. Go Dodgers! She played a second mom role to any of her friends' kids and they sometimes listened to her better than their own parents. You would often find her jamming on her guitar, and making people laugh. Her witty sense of humor gave people memories that they could write a book with. Her greatest accomplishment in life was being an aunt. They were her pride and joy, and they had a smile on their faces the moment she walked through the door. Iya is survived by her parent's Vince Taylor (Erin Melcher), Corinne (Jim) Fulkerson, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; sisters Tatiana (Dan) LeClair of Maxwell, Iowa; Alexis (Derek) Meinershagen of Blue Springs, Missouri; a brother Seth Taylor of Altoona, Iowa; a nephew Quest Forbes, nieces Journey and Corina Meinershagen, a future nephew baby LeClair; a grandmother Ruth Ann Taylor of Fulton, Missouri, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ken Taylor; maternal grandparents Estevan and Paula Marquez and her favorite furry friend, Frida. Visitation will be Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Hedges-Scott Funeral home in Camdenton, Missouri with visitation from 2-4 pm and services starting at 3:30 pm. A celebration of life will follow at 5:00 pm at the Sunrise Little Theater. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to any animal shelter in the lake area.
