Obituary of John L Wood

John L. Wood, age 35, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020 from an auto accident. John was born November 30, 1984 in Fairfield, California to Richard and Patricia (Cotten) Wood. On August 7, 2010, John was united in marriage to Magan Davis in Montreal, Missouri. John co-owned and operated Shoreline Surveying Company. He loved to spend time with his wife and children. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed keeping up with the Pro- Crappie Tour. John was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. John was a member of Camdenton Bible Baptist Church for 23 years in Camdenton. He graduated from the University of Missouri Rolla where he received his Engineering degree. John is survived by his wife Magan Wood, of the home; his children Ryleigh, Zoeigh and Beau, all of the home; his parents Richard and Patricia Wood of Eldon, Missouri; his sisters Rachel Williams and husband T.J. of Bremerton, Washington, and Elizabeth Bradfield of Eldon, Missouri. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 am, Friday, February 7, 2020 at Camdenton Bible Baptist Church in Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 10:00 to 11:30 am prior to services at Camdenton Bible Baptist Church. Memorials are suggested to Camdenton Bible Baptist Church for the family.
