Obituary of Patricia Ann Murphy

Patricia Ann Murphy, age 77, of Montreal, Missouri passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, February 24, 2020 at her home in Montreal. Patricia was born January 10, 1943 in Wichita, Kansas to Webster and Elsie (McGregor) McElmurry. Patricia worked at Wal-Mart in Osage Beach for 20 years. She made friends with any person she met and everyone loved her. She had many hobbies including puzzles, games, plants, crafts, making things, sewing and crocheting baby blankets, reading books, and going to yard sales. She especially loved her grandkids and spending time with them. She was a loving mother, grandma, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Patricia is survived by her daughters Ariel Murphy of Brumley, Missouri, Heidi Moen and husband Chad of Columbia, Missouri, and Teri Murphy of Brumley, Missouri; six grandchildren Kori Murphy, Portia Beltey, Olivia Beltey, Justin Murphy, Brooklynn Murphy, and Paul Murphy; one great-grandchild Emmett Farley; brother Leon McEelmurry and wife Rosalie of Goshen, Indiana; and sister Claudia Miller of Shipshwana, Indiana. Patricia was preceded in death by her granddaughter Alexis Farley; brothers Argie McElmurry and Terry McElmurry; and sisters Wilma Hamner and CoraBelle Shenk. There are no services scheduled at this time.
