Obituary of Larry James Church

Larry James Church, age 69, of Sedalia, Missouri passed away peacefully Friday, February 28, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones at his home in Sedalia. Larry was born on July 14, 1950 in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Charles (Chuck) and Louise (Fox) Church. Larry married Rhonda Gale Fleming July 3, 1970. They were married for 49 years. Larry loved working with his hands doing puzzles and was an avid movie fan. Larry worked at Pettis County Courthouse after his retirement from the Air Force after 20 years of service. He also worked at American Efforts in North Carolina for 11 years. Larry is survived by his wife Rhonda of the home; a daughter Rebecca Mattes and husband Matthew of Lebanon, Missouri; a son David Church and wife Chari of Charleston, South Carolina; seven grandchildren Chelsea, Michael, Cheyenne, John, Cody, Josh and William; two brothers Danny and Kenny Church of North Carolina and many other relatives and friends. Larry was preceded in death by one son Billy Church; his parents Chuck and Louise Church; and three brothers. The family would like to thank Crossroads hospice and DCI dialysis clinic of Sedalia for all their care and support and would also like to thank all of the loving friends and family. No services will be held at this time.
