Obituary of Cheryl M Barton

Cheryl M. Barton, age 49, of Fair Grove, Missouri, was tragically taken on Thursday, March 12, 2020. Her partner John Slaven IV passed alongside her. Cheryl was born December 19, 1970 in Clearwater, Florida, the daughter of Jonnie and Patricia (Heller) Barton. Cheryl was a server at Ziggie’s Café in Springfield, Missouri for six years. She was loved by her co-workers and regulars. Her hobbies included crafting, being in nature, and tending to her garden and animals. Above all her hobbies, she loved being Nana to her grandchildren. Cheryl is survived by her son Cord Barton of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her daughter Shelby Clayton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her grandchildren Shayleigh, Ryan, and Penelope; and her sister Annette Newberry of Bainbridge, Georgia. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents Jonnie and Patricia Barton. A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri.
