Obituary of Jack L Cross

Jack L. Cross, age 64, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at his home in Camdenton surrounded by his family. Jack was born August 28, 1955 in Lebanon, Missouri to Frank and L. Zelpha (Martin) Cross. On March 22, 1974, Jack was united in marriage to Patty (Joy) Kennedy in Macks Creek, Missouri. At the time of her passing on March 9, 2009, they shared 34 years together. October 23, 2009, Jack was united in marriage to Susan (Susie) McGuire in Camdenton, Missouri. They shared 10 years together prior to his passing. Jack worked for Kenny Carroll excavating and before that at Scott's concrete. He was saved in February 1992. He loved golfing, fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He enjoyed raising pigs and going to auctions. Jack was known to everyone as a social butterfly. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. Jack is survived by his wife Susie Cross of the home; his sons Todd Cross (Dee) of Macks Creek, Missouri, Chris McGuire (Lynette) of Camdenton, Missouri, and Tony Webster (Chelsey) of Camdenton, Missouri; his daughter Tiffany Tryon (Scott) of Camdenton, Missouri and Sara Hynes (Mike) of Buffalo, Missouri; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Jack was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Zelpha Cross; his wife Patty (Joy) Cross; his brothers Leonard Cross Sr. and Charles Cross; and one granddaughter Emily Tryon. A Drive through Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home parking lot in Camdenton, Missouri. Memorials are suggested to the family.
