Obituary of Norma Jean Robinett

Norma Jean Robinett, age 92, of Brumley, Missouri lost her battle with cancer on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia, Missouri. Norma was born November 21, 1927 in Brumley, Missouri to Homer and Mary (Godfrey) Thompson. Norma was a janitor for American UE for several years and did housecleaning. She enjoyed going fishing and loved spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. Norma is survived her son Gary Robinett of Brumley, Missouri; her daughter Glendia Barry of Kaiser, Missouri; five grandchildren Susan Robinett of Kentucky, Ryan Robinett (Katelyn) of Troy, Missouri, Travis Swofford (Miche’) of Independence, Missouri and Raena Weeks (Leland) of Lake Ozark, Missouri; nine great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; four great-step-grandchildren; son in law Larry Swofford of Brumley, Missouri; many nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Norma was preceded in death by her parents Homer Thompson and Mary (Godfrey) Brown; her husband Gordon Robinett; her daughter Wilma Swofford; and her grandson Eric Swofford. A Private Service will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri. Entombment will be held at Lake Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Osage Beach, Missouri.
