Randy,
My brother now in heaven!
The time spent in 2019 and 2020 with you and your awesome family is and was an immense blessing. With your daughters and wife and just you and I. We prayed, took "Holy Spirit timeouts". Randy, you shared openly and never with fear or loss of hope and faith.
During this time; In Minnesota, South Dakota, Osage Beach and Tulsa (Cancer Center of America) your entertainment chops and knowing how to read a crowd and situation that put other's at peace as well as raise "their" Spirits was from the heart (heart of a father) and masterful.
Your passion and pursuit of God's Word, God, Jesus and Holy Spirit gave you peace that extended to your family and many loved ones.
See you in heaven,
Roger Zwart

I am a high school classmate of Randy's. Even though I haven't seen him in years, I have memories of his amazing natural musical talents Including forming a band to play at school, dances. He played with another incredibally talented classmate, Kevin Kuper who also recently passed. I know they are making great music in heaven together. To Randy's family, may God be your strength during this very sorrowful time. Rest in Peace Randy

I got to know the Zwart family when my sister Robyn helped me get a job at The Lyndwood. Many great memories of my time there working for this amazing family. When Zwarte played at the Lake Wilson Street dance our paths crossed again. My heart is sad as I read about Randy. Know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

To Randall's family: Randy and I are thinking of you, and we cannot even imagine the hurt you are enduring right now. As many others have already said, Randall will be missed by many. Not only will he be missed because of his music and creativity, but also for his behavior of accepting everyone for who they are! We will see you all soon! Take care, Randy and Vicky Becherer

Our son Eric May told us about meeting Randall in Sturgis several years ago...Eric's band was playing at a club close to where Randall was playing and they met...shared some stories...and talked touring and song writing. It wasn't until a few years later we met Randall at Loto Lounge. He always had a smile on his face, even though we could tell he was hurting. Rock On Randall...you will never be forgotten...rip. Randal Zwart family - we are so sorry to hear of Randy's passing. He was such an easy guy to become friends with all those years ago. I will always remember the Pomp Room, the fun times while hunting, Randy calling me "the first white rapper in South Dakota" and what a great he was. Our deepest sympathy to you all. My condolences to the family, it all started in the early 90’s when brother Rick told a group of guys he worked with in Minnesota you have to come see my brothers play and the rest is history. The journey and friendship with Randall began as we would randomly ride hours to shows all over the mid-west and even Daytona then see the look when he spotted us. Always got a kick out of him throwing our names out as he was singing - as a sign of appreciation we came out to see them. Every year he stopped at our lot in Sturgis to check in on the gang and have a cold one as we would catch up on life.
Your music will live on with all of us and you will be missed as a friend.

Randall was a mentor and a friend. One of my best memories was taking our four wheelers down to the Desert in Bismarck and riding all night with Randy, Bob, Tony and the gang. It's a memory I think of now and then. It was also the night Bob and Randy asked me if I'd fill in for Mark, their bass player at the time. He had to go back home on a family matter that weekend. So I spent the rest of my time learning to play their music and practicing with them when not at work. It was fun to share the stage with Zwart'e for a night. R.I.P. Randall, my your music forever live.

Randall always had a smile on his face and he was so good at lifting up the spirits of others. So often would he make us feel important and encouraged! His creative wit and unique sense of humor will always be remembered. Most importantly, he loved Jesus, and that daily reverence for the Lord made such a huge impression on me through the years. What a blessing he was.

We are so sorry to hear of Randall's passing. Our friendship started years ago, as huge Zwarte fans.
He was a very creative entrepreneur and left us all, far too soon.
The next time we attend mass at Our Lady of the Lake Church, it will bring us comfort knowing of Randall's presence there.
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Daria, Randall's parents, kids, grandkids, siblings and extended family.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
