Obituary of Karen Engelbrecht

Karen Engelbrecht, age 79, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Karen was born May 6, 1940 in Illinois to John and Eva (Kritner) Mittvick. Karen worked in the medical field all her life. She cared for her nephew in Illinois, then moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1999 to help care for her sister Barbara in Laurie, Missouri. She was close to her nieces and nephews, James of St. Peters, Missouri, Karen, Katherine and Karalyn of Columbia, Missouri and David of Lake Ozark, Missouri, Karen enjoyed watching TV and spending time with her family at gatherings. Karen is survived by her brother John of Lewisville, Texas; brother-in-law James of Laurie, Missouri; sister-in-law Beth of Roselle, Illinois; and cousin Joanne of Wheaton, Illinois. Services will be held at a later date.
