Obituary of James Allen Eidson, Jr.
James (Jim) Allen Eidson, Jr., age 73, of Linn Creek, Missouri passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 at his home in Linn Creek surrounded by his family.
Jim was born November 10, 1946 in Macks Creek, Missouri, the son of James Allen Eidson, Sr. and Nera (Seaton)
Eidson.
On September 6, 2003, Jim was united in marriage to Vickie Mcguire at their home in Linn Creek. They shared 17 years together at the time of his passing.
Jim loved being outdoors, especially deer hunting and fishing. His favorite times were spent with his family and grandchildren. He loved his life sitting on the porch on the hill visiting with family and friends. He enjoyed mowing with his grandson. Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
Jim is survived by his wife Vickie Eidson of the home; children James Allen Eidson, III (Debbie) of Lebanon, Missouri, Diane Eidson (Eddie Emery) of Camdenton, Missouri, Mike Eidson (Chassity) of Linn Creek, Missouri, Angela Boggess (Aaron) of Eldorado, Illinois, Chassity Eidson (Mike) of Linn Creek, Missouri, and Christi Garcia of Camdenton, Missouri; 14 grandchildren Aj (Kaitlyn), Candace, Chelsea, Coriann, Griffin (Martha), Harley, Jacob, Johnathan, Josh (Danielle), Lacy, Lisa, Tacha, Tiffany (Kevin), and Wryun; 6 great-grandchildren Adalyn, Brixton, Ellis, Jeron, Khiara, and Quenton; brother Gary (Cecelia) Eidson of Camdenton, Missouri; sister Judy (Bud) Riley of Macks Creek, Missouri; sisters-in-law Anita Schlenfort (David) of Linn Creek, Missouri and Cathy Moore of Pittsburg, Missouri; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents James Allen Eidson, Sr. and Nera Eidson; brothers Jerry Wayne Eidson and Silas Eugene (Pete) Eidson; sister Jannie Sue Wallace; and son-in-law Raoul Garcia, Sr.
The family would like to thank Hospice Compassus and Integrity Pt/Ot caregivers Cori and Sarah for their extra compassion and care.
Private graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Hedges Cemetery in Camdenton, Missouri.
Memorial donations are suggested to the family.
