Obituary of Cherie Drew Wiater

Cherie Drew Wiater, 75, of Montreal, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. Cherie was born in Chicago, Illinois to Fredrick and Madeline Filliung on April 3, 1945. She went to high school at Main West and graduated in 1963. She worked as a secretary, seamstress and at the library over the span of her lifetime. Cherie enjoyed both horses and woodcarving, where she won many awards involving both. She was involved in church activities, bible study, line dancing, and helping at the senior center. Cherie is survived by her husband, James and three daughters Melissa (Larry), Victoria (Allen), and Cynthia (Joel); six grandchildren Tyler, Zachary, Reid, Ayden, Anna, and Christine. She is preceded in death by her father Fredrick, mother Madeline, sister Madeline Adele, and sister Joann. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Camdenton, Missouri on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 10:00 am with Reverend Father Daniel Vacca officiating. Burial will follow services at Hedges Cemetery, Camdenton, Missouri at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
