Obituary of Donald Scott Hudlemeyer

Donald Scott Hudlemeyer, of Osage Beach, Missouri passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 at the age of 25. Donald was born December 14, 1994 in Sedalia, Missouri. He was an accomplished athlete in high school, receiving awards in both football and track and field. Donald graduated with honors from School of the Osage and went on to play football at the University of Central Missouri where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. After college, he became a Certified Nurse’s Assistant and Certified EMT. His hobbies included: golfing, video games, spending time with his pets (Bob and Carl), boating, hiking, camping, Day Trading and he was a certified diver. He loved his nieces dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. Donald is survived by his parents, Max and Anita Durfee, his brother Kyle Zimmerman and his wife Christina, his sister Amy Davidson and her husband Andrew, his step-brother Jeff Durfee and his wife Michele, his step-sister Michelle Baudendistal and her husband Larry, and nieces Adella Davidson and Olivia and Ava Zimmerman, his girlfriend Shelby VanDonsel, his aunts and uncles: Matthew and Deborah Mayes, David Mayes, Debra and Jerry Roberts, Debbie and Ray Hutt, Kathy and Blaine Dome and Dani Schwemm along with many cousins, extended family and friends. Donald is preceded in death by his father, Donald Steven Hudlemeyer, paternal grandparents, Don and Bessie Hudlemeyer, maternal grandparents, Shelton and Mardell Mayes and his Aunt Masako Mayes. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Lake Ozark, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
