Frances Marr

Obituary of Frances Ann Marr

On Monday morning, May 25th, 2020, heaven gained another beautiful soul. Frances Ann Marr passed away surrounded by her family with her favorite view of the homes property and pond. Her family held her hand as she passed through the gates of heaven peacefully in Camdenton, Missouri. Born in Warrensburg, Missouri to Ervin and Marjorie Bruns, Frances made many friends as she grew up and graduated from Holden High School in the class of '68. After marrying Terry E. Marr from Warrensburg Missouri, she raised her three sons and daughter and continued to build a strong network of friends. Frances was known as a second Mom to many of her extended family and friends. She was always there to listen and help with their trials as their lives grew. Frances worked for Central Physical Therapy in Warrensburg, Missouri for 12 years. When her husband retired in 2006 they both moved to the Lake of the Ozarks, where Frances would work for Lake Regional Health System until her passing. She continued her many friendships and grew many new ones at both of these employers. Frances again was the go-to friend for her co-workers for all things needed. Frances always made her family and friends a top priority. They always sought out her company and guidance. Holiday and everyday baking was a gift Frances passed on to her many family members especially her grandchildren. Frances loved to garden and had a gift for all things beautiful that could come out of the ground or one of her many decorative flower pots. She and her husband had a half acre garden for many years that they loved to spend time in together. Frances enjoyed seeing family, garage selling on weekends, boating, and all the simple pleasures in life. Frances is survived by her sons Keith, Ryan, and Matt (Camdenton, Missouri) and daughter Mindy Burford (Osage Beach, Missouri) as well as her son-in-law Keith Burford, daughter-in-law Sophia Marr, 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Richard Bruns, and numerous nieces and nephews.
