Obituary of Donna K. Gardner

Donna K. Gardner, 70, of Linn Creek, Missouri passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. She was born October 15, 1949 in Joplin, Missouri, the daughter of Donald and JoAnn (Griffin) Smith. Donna worked at TeePak in Kansas City, Missouri for 14 years. When TeePak closed, she moved to Linn Creek, Missouri and worked at Wal-Mart in Osage Beach, Missouri for 5 years until retirement. Donna loved spending time with family and friends. As she became unable to travel, Donna became quite savvy at utilizing Facebook to keep in touch and browsing the internet. She was an adamant internet gambler (with fake money of course) and enjoyed watching the horses and deer in the fields outside her windows. Donna is survived by her sisters Sandy Atwood of Kansas City, Missouri, Diana Stumfoll of Trimble, Missouri, and Susie Harris of Blue Springs, Missouri; son Paul Gardner and wife Dana of Linn Creek, Missouri; daughter Malinda Gardner of Kansas City, Missouri; 6 grandchildren Paul and wife Erica, Roxanne, Devon, Caden, Wade, and Kyle; 4 great-grandchildren Savaun, Alexavier, Gracelyn, and Cason; and many loved nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her parents Donald Smith and JoAnn Stumfoll and sister Debbie Kobe. A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held 3:00 – 5:00 pm Friday, July 17, 2020 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. Donna’s final resting place will be at Terrace Park Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri. Memorial donations can be made to American Cancer Society.
