Obituary of JoAnn Marval

JoAnn Marval, age 79, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, died Tuesday, August 3, 2020 at her home in Lake Ozark. She was born July 12, 1941 in Esther, Missouri to the late Edgar Umfleet and Dorothy (Creswell) Umfleet. JoAnn was united in marriage to Eugene Marval on June 10, 1961. JoAnn was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who enjoyed her family and church family. She loved to play Bingo. She also enjoyed spending time shopping and dining out. JoAnn is survived by two sons Keith Marval and wife Chris of Eldon, Missouri and Donald Marval of O’Fallon, Missouri; one daughter Susan Gittemeier and husband James of Eldon, Missouri; 6 grandchildren Courtney Marval, Crystal Marval, Hunter Marval, Ryan Gittemeier, Andrew Gittemeier, and Cody Hart; 2 great-granddaughters; and two brothers Terry Unfleet and wife Evelyn and Noel Umfleet and wife Naomi. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Eldon Church of the Nazarene in Eldon, Missouri, with Pastor Jerry Frye officiating. Interment will be held at Lake Memorial Gardens in Osage Beach, Missouri.
