Obituary of Wayne Eugene Pritchett

Wayne Eugene Pritchett, age 73, of Linn Creek, Missouri passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020 in Osage Beach, Missouri. Wayne was born October 22, 1946 in Nevada, Missouri, the son of Raymond and Josephine (Clevenger) Pritchett. Wayne worked in Kansas City as a computer programmer with Hallmark Cards for 20 years, and then for 20 years with Sprint, before retiring to the Lake of the Ozarks where he could focus on his favorite things, including boating, playing guitar, and spoiling his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his significant other Olivia Jackson of Linn Creek, Missouri; sons Donald Wayne Pritchett of Plattsburg, Missouri and John Ray Pritchett and wife Angelique of Shawnee, Kansas; daughter Julie Claire Carl and husband Kris of Palm Beach, Florida; 8 grandchildren Hannah Elizabeth Pritchett, Josie Dawn Pritchett, Gabrielle Elise Pritchett, Joseph Randolph Pritchett, Isaac Alexander Pritchett, Elijah Anthony Pritchett, Kian Kristopher Carl, and Kaden Ares Carl; and 1 adopted granddaughter, Alliah Jo Jackson. He is also survived by his five brothers Raymond Cecil Pritchett of Nevada, Missouri, Gerald Lee Pritchett and wife Karen of Independence, Missouri, Delbert Leon Pritchett and wife Patti of Moundville, Missouri, Howard Dale Pritchett and wife Vanette of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and Bernard Dean Pritchett of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; and four sisters Connie Jo Stogsdill and husband Gary of Warrensburg, Missouri, Carol Ann Harden and husband Allen of Eldon, Missouri, Patricia Diane Smith of Decatur, Illinois, and Linda Kay McClary and husband Rick of Lone Jack, Missouri. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Josephine Pritchett. Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Faith Baptist Church in Climax Springs, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 11:00 am to noon at the church prior to services.
