Obituary of Orrin George Parks

Orrin George Parks, age 78, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020 at his home in Camdenton. Orrin was born October 27, 1941 in Omaha, Nebraska to Purl and Anna Parks. Orrin was united in marriage to Kathy Laird on August 26, 1995 in Camdenton, Missouri. Orrin grew up on his grandfather’s farm where he enjoyed working on farm equipment. Orrin moved to Camdenton, Missouri where he was a mechanic at Hulett Chevrolet for 27 years. Orrin was a veteran of the Vietnam war while serving in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, cars in general and many friends and family. Orrin was preceded in death by his parents Purl and Anna Parks, grandparents George and Margaret Zahradnek and his grandson Christopher Dwiggins. Orrin is survived by his wife Kathy Parks, sister Alice Burch, husband Lucky, children Adam Parks, wife Tiffany, Jim Harding, Mark Harding, wife Sarah, Jason Laird, Robin Phillips, husband Todd, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held with full military honors at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Hedges Cemetery in Camdenton, Missouri.
