Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Lyles

Mary Elizabeth Lyles, age 66, of Montreal, Missouri passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Mary was born to Thomas and Velma Jameson on March 31, 1954, in St. Louis, Missouri. Mary was united in marriage to Virgle Lyles on March 11, 1978. Virgle and Mary had a combined 9 children together; Chris Tobey of Tyler, Texas, Lynn Marshall and spouse of Tyler, Texas, Tammy Joy of Granden, Missouri, Barbara Leonard and spouse Henry of Corning, Arkansas, Lisa Shepard and spouse Scott of Camdenton, Missouri, Sandra Lyles-Goldsberry and spouse Nile of Montreal, Missouri, James Lyles of Montreal, Missouri, JoAnna Lyles of Camdenton, Missouri, and adopted daughter Angela Smith of Jackson, Missouri. She has 31 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is survived by 1 sister Barbara Coram of Mulberry, Florida and 1 brother Gene Jameson of Tyler, Texas. Mary loved fishing, crocheting, and spending time outdoors. She was a hard worker and loved helping people. She loved cooking and plants. She was a huge Betty Boop and anything Coca-Cola fan. There was never a stranger she couldn’t talk to. Mom had a big heart and the thing she loved the most was her family. Once you were part of her family, she did anything to make you happy. She always had a smile for everyone and a big warm hug. She also loved animals and would bring home any stray she could. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 17, 2020 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 17, 2020 prior to services at the funeral home.
