Obituary of Janice Kay Moore

Janice Kay Moore, 77, of Osage Beach, Missouri, formally Wilmington, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, August 19, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 6, 1943 to the late Elmer and Agnes Harris in Naylor, Missouri. Janice loved boating and spending time at the lake with her family. She also loved to crochet and quilt. She took great pride in watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow up. She followed her dreams and moved to Lake of the Ozarks to enjoy the breathtaking views from her beloved patio. Janice was employed at Personal Products in Wilmington, Illinois and retired from Heartland Blood Center. She spent many years as a member of the Moose Lodge in Wilmington where she had the privilege of being Senior Regent. She was preceded in death by her brother Marvin Eugene Harris and his wife JoAnn. Janice leaves behind her loving partner Tom Muchowski, her two sons and two daughter-in-laws, Byron (Deborah) Moore and Michael (Nonnie) Moore both of Wilmington, Illinois. She will forever be remembered by her grandchildren, Kelli Moore (Nicholas Cox) of Osage Beach, Missouri, Kerri (Mack) Tworek of Wilmington, Illinois, and Logan Moore of Wilmington, Illinois. She will forever cherish memories with her five great-grandchildren, Chloe, Spencer, Lucas, Bryce, and Mackenna. As wished by Janice, a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
