Obituary of Bryan Lee Carmack

Bryan Lee Carmack, age 59, of Iberia, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Bryan was born September 1, 1960 in East St. Louis, Illinois, the son of Bobby and Carolyn (Humphrey) Carmack. On February 28, 1987, Bryan was united in marriage to Sonya Shelton in Iberia, Missouri. They shared 33 years together at the time of his passing. Bryan worked in highway construction, was a truck driver, and drove dump trucks. He enjoyed being outside working on his farm. Bryan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. Bryan is survived by his wife Sonya Carmack of the home; son Jordy Carmack and wife Tori of Iberia, Missouri; daughters Cherish DeGraffenreid and husband D.J. of Eldon, Missouri and Susie Whittle and husband Brandon of Brumley, Missouri; 8 grandchildren Devin DeGraffenreid and wife Alysa, Landon DeGraffenreid, Bennett Whittle, Lane Whittle, Ava Whittle, Cooper Whittle, Jared Carmack, and Graham Carmack; mother Carolyn Carmack of Iberia, Missouri; brothers Mike Carmack and wife Marsha of Illinois, Roy Carmack and wife Layla of Iberia, Missouri, and Kevin Carmack and wife Heather of Iberia, Missouri; sisters Debbie Carmack of Troy, Illinois and Kim Robbins of Iberia, Missouri; many other relatives and friends. Bryan was preceded in death by his father Bobby Carmack and brother Bobby Carmack. Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 12:00 – 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 26, 2020 prior to services at the funeral home. Masonic Services will be held following visitation prior to the funeral service, provided by Masonic Lodge 410, Iberia, Missouri. Interment will be held at Union Cemetery in Iberia, Missouri. Memorial donations are suggested to the family.
