Obituary of Teddy L. Vedenhoupt

Teddy L. "Ted" Vedenhoupt, age 65, of Tuscumbia, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. Ted was born January 3, 1955 in Hannibal, Missouri, the son of Rebecca Vedenhoupt. On February 11, 1989, Ted was united in marriage to Bonnie Snow in Ashland, Missouri. They shared 31 years together at the time of his passing. Ted was a police officer in the states of New York and Missouri after serving in the Army. He enjoyed shooting, hunting, riding his motorcycle, and playing with his Pomeranians. He loved his family and his most treasured time was spent with them. Ted is survived by his wife Bonnie Vedenhoupt of the home; daughters Nicole Eby of Eldon, Missouri and Ginger Eby of Salisbury, Maryland; 2 grandchildren Aden and Michael; brothers Henry Vedenhoupt and wife Rose of Tuscumbia, Missouri, Billy Gandy and Barb of Eldon, Missouri, and Chester Gandy II and wife Sylvia of Eldon, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews. Ted was preceded in death by his parents; sons Ricky Lee, James Lee, and Keith Allen; and Brothers Jewell Gandy and Kevin Gandy. Ted will always be remembered for his love of family, love of his country, honesty and strong will. Services will be held at a later date.
