Obituary of Lenae Marie Gruenberg

Lenae Marie Gruenberg passed peacefully into God’s hands on September 8, 2020 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Lenae was born on March 5, 1951 to Hanna and Roy Random in Bismarck, North Dakota. She graduated from high school in Glyndon, Minnesota in 1969. She later graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 1972 with a degree in business education. She married Rod in 1973 and they lived in Omaha, Nebraska. She worked in various clerical and secretarial roles. She retired with her husband in 2014 and moved to Linn Creek, Missouri. She was a wonderful, loving, caring person. She was liked by all the people she knew as friends and co-workers. She loved music and played the piano. She also loved to spend time with her grandchildren, reading, and playing card and board games. She is survived by her husband Rod; sons Thomas (Karilee) and Michael (Kelly); and 6 grandchildren. Lenae will be greatly missed and forever loved by her husband and her family and friends. Donations may be made to Helping Hands Homeless Shelter in Camdenton, Missouri, Dogwood Animal Shelter in Osage Beach, Missouri, or The American Cancer Society. Services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home. The family requests that those who attend the services please wear a mask. Interment will be held at Hedges Cemetery in Camdenton, Missouri.
