Obituary of Marilyn Gale Perry

Marilyn Gale Perry, age 71, from Rocky Mount, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at her home in Rocky Mount. Marilyn was born in Newport News, Virginia on September 23, 1948 to Lewis and Constance (Pennington) Woodyard. Marilyn was a loving wife to Mr. Alvin Buddy Perry. They shared many years together. Marilyn and Buddy came to the lake area when they purchased Minit Mart. They shared all the ups and downs over they last 20 years. Marilyn was a loving wife, amazing mother, super nana, and friend. We lost a truly beautiful, loving, and giving spirt. We miss you. Marilyn is survived by her husband Alvin Buddy Perry; her children Kelli Huffman, Cassondra Mathews (Brian), Jeremy Huffman (Kimberly); grandchildren Specialist Mathews Blake Allen, Hailee Gale Mathews, Dalaina Grace Huffman, and Braydon Allen Huffman; and many other relatives and friends. Blessed are they who have not seen and yet have believed. - John 20:29 A Private Graveside Service will be held at Lake Memorial Gardens in Osage Beach, Missouri. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 until the private service begins on Monday, September 14, 2020 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri. Memorial donations are suggested to Meowtown Animal Rescue or Dogwood Animal Shelter.
