Obituary of Robert Dwayne Oliver

Robert Dwayne Oliver, age 87, of Lake Ozark, Missouri passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Robert was born on March 7, 1933 to Ernie and Eithel Oliver in Harrisburg, Illinois. On July 18, 1953, Robert was united in marriage to the love of his life Donna in Harrisburg, Illinois. They shared 67 years of marriage at the time of his passing. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. In 1967, he and Donna moved to Wisconsin and then retired in Lake Ozark, Missouri in 1993. Robert loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. He also enjoyed golfing and spending winters in Arizona. Robert leaves behind his loving wife Donna Oliver of the home; 3 children Beth Christman (Ed), Cheryl Sweet (Tom), and Jarrell Oliver (Gail); 8 grandchildren David Sweet, Robert Sweet, Scott Sweet, Sarah Reece, Hannah Devenney, Lydia Park, Erin Oliver, and Jenna Oliver; 14 great-grandchildren and one due in December; sister-in-law Ann Milligan; and many nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws; sister Delores; and grandson Lucas. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Miller County Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center for his care in his final days and to the Lake Regional Health System Staff. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Riverview Baptist Church in Osage Beach, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 am prior to services at the church. Memorial donations are suggested to Riverview Baptist Church in Osage Beach, Missouri.
