Obituary of Jean Gentry

Jean Gentry, age 90, of Osage Beach, Missouri passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care in Osage Beach. Jean was born June 30, 1930 in Bern, Kansas, the daughter of Leonard and Irene (Hofmann) Roth. For many years Jean had her own business of providing in-home care. In her spare time she enjoyed playing cards. Her family was very dear to her, and her most treasured time was spent with family and friends. Jean is survived by her sons David Harley Gentry and wife Janet of Pima, Arizona and Ron Gentry and wife Sandy of Camdenton, Missouri; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Jean was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Irene Roth and her sisters Dorothy Rorer, Margaret Kirstetter, Rita Rose, and Patty Roth. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Big Niangua Cemetery in Roach, Missouri. Memorial donations are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
