Obituary of William H. Hembree

William H. Hembree (Bill), age 57, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2020 in Camdenton, Missouri. Bill was born August 31, 1963 in Bolivar, Missouri, the son of James Hembree Sr. and Doris (Knickerbocker) Hembree. Bill worked for 20 years at Old Kinderhook as the grounds keeper. He also ran the Zamboni to clean the ice rink during season. He was a devoted K.C. Chiefs fan and enjoyed keeping up with them. He also enjoyed attending Tracy Lawrence concerts with his family. Family was important to Bill and he loved them and friends very much. He had an amazing personality and was positive about everything. He lifted everything to God and had immense faith. Bill is survived by his son Daniel K. Hembree of Camdenton, Missouri; siblings Lois J. Penn of Merriam, Kansas, Mary K. Hembree of Camdenton, Missouri, and Donald L. Hembree of Camdenton, Missouri; uncle Lindsey Hembree and wife Toni of Camdenton, Missouri; dog Maggie; and many other relatives and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents James Hembree Sr. and Doris Hembree; and 2 brothers J.C. Hembree and Larry R. Hembree. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Mullin Cemetery in Urich, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorials may go towards a memorial bench in memory of Bill and can be sent to Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, PO Box 49, Camdenton, Missouri.
