Obituary of Michael Kevin Patterson

Michael Kevin Patterson, 65, slipped into eternal peace on Saturday, October 10, 2020 after battling the devastating disease that stole so many great years of his life. On February 25, 1955, Mike was born in Yakima, Washington. He lived in Kansas and Oklahoma, but called Missouri his home. He enjoyed classic cars and loved music. He played his guitars and banjo as much as he could. Mike could be a charmer and had a special knack for seeking adventures and opportunities that only Mike could see. Mike leaves behind two sons Jason and Jeffrey Brune of South Carolina; two brothers and their wives Dean and Pam Patterson of Sublette, Kansas and Gene and Susan Patterson of Wardsville, Missouri; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Wendell and Theresa Patterson who have welcomed him home. The family wishes to thank all who had Mike in their thoughts and prayers. After much discussion, the family has decided not to hold a visitation in light of the coronavirus. Covid played a part in Mike’s passing and the family, wishing to keep others safe, hope his friends and loved ones will understand.
