Obituary of Debbie K. Lewis

On Monday, October 12, 2020, Debbie K. Lewis, loving wife and mother of three children, passed away at the age of 64. Debbie was born on November 16, 1955 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Dwight and Laverna (Childers) Henderson. She was an avid teacher of the Word of God. She served people at every opportunity, food pantry, prayer, or just a listening ear and then sharing wisdom. On August 1, 1975, she married Herbert C Lewis. They raised three daughters, Yvette and Carolyn and Alisha. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Dwight and Laverna Henderson. She is survived by her husband Herbert; her three children, Yvette (Tom) Seevers, Carolyn Lewis, and Alisha (Lee) Walker; her brothers Erle (Sherri) Henderson and Don (Lisa) Henderson; sisters Rhonda (Marvin) Green and Ameka (Tim) Willard; two grandsons Tanner Seevers and Jaden Seevers; as well as many nieces and nephews. Memorial services to be held Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Newlife Ministries located at 7945 S. Benton Ave, Kansas City, Missouri 64132.
